Understanding the publishing status of content in RevaOS
The Contents app of RevasOS allows advanced management of the visibility status of content and content libraries within your organization. In order to make content or a content library usable within RevasOS, it must first be published.
:::note Content uploaded within the Contents app but not made public will therefore not be usable within the RevasOS Websites app. :::
Publishing states
A resource, such as a post but also a website, can have three publishing states:
- draft
- published
- changes to be published
Draft
A draft resource is a resource visible only internally and not publicly. If it is in draft, it means that it has never been published.
Published
A published resource is a resource visible internally and publicly. If it has this status, it means that it has no draft changes.
Changes to Publish
A resource with changes to publish is a resource that is visible internally and publicly. If it has this status, there are draft changes that have not been published, so the internal, non-public version is different from the public version.
