Introduction to the RevasOS Desktop

The RevasOS Desktop is your central workspace. It is the first screen you see when you log in and the place where you access every application, manage your account, and navigate across the platform.

From the desktop you can open installed apps, browse the app store to add new ones, switch between organizations, and reach your personal settings. It is designed to be the single entry point to everything RevasOS offers.

Getting started

Whether you are logging in for the first time or setting up the platform for your team, these resources will help you get oriented.

What you can do from the desktop

The desktop gives you direct access to every area of RevasOS. Here is an overview of the main applications and what each one handles.

How the desktop is organized

The desktop is structured around a few main elements.

  • Home β€” your pinned apps and quick-access area. Pin the apps you use most for immediate access.
  • Apps library β€” all installed applications, accessible from the top-right menu.
  • App store β€” browse and install new applications from the store.
  • Account settings β€” manage your profile, language, and notification preferences.
  • Organization switcher β€” if you belong to multiple organizations, switch between them from the desktop.

How it connects to the apps

The desktop is the shell that hosts every RevasOS application. Each app β€” Timesheets, Workforce, Projects, Timecards, Invoices, Websites, and others β€” runs inside the desktop environment. This means:

  • You do not need separate logins for each app.
  • Navigation between apps is seamless.
  • Notifications and updates from all apps are accessible from one place.
