Advanced options in Tasks

The Tasks app in RevasOS gives you some advanced options for editing and managing your tasks. Thourgh these you can:

Change details of a task

If you want to change details in a task such as changing the title, assignee or due date you can do so by following these steps:

  1. Open the Tasks app in your RevasOS environment;
  2. Either from the "My tasks" or the "All tasks" section click on the name of the task you want to edit;
  3. In the task editor you can now change all the details you want to edit;
  4. Click "Save";

Add a work estimate to a task for the reporting functions

In order for a task to be accounted for when doing reporting in RevasOS it must be complete with both an assignee and a workload estimate. To add a workload estimate follow these steps:

  1. Open the Tasks app in your RevasOS environment;
  2. Either from the "My tasks" or the "All tasks" section click on the name of the task you want to edit;
  3. Insert the workload estimate in the corresponding field;
  4. Click "Save";

Delete a task

Danger!

This action cannot be undone! Remember that it is a good practice to only delete tasks when absolutely necessary as it might interfere with the reporting functions.

If you want to delete a task inside the Tasks app in RevasOS you can do so by following these steps:

  1. Open the Tasks app in your RevasOS environment;
  2. Either from the "My tasks" or the "All tasks" section click on the name of the task you want to delete;
  3. Click on "Advanced options";
  4. Click on "Delete task";
  5. Insert "DELETE" inside the textbox;
  6. Click "Delete task";
