Frequently Asked Questions
"Why do images take longer to load on the first visit?"
Images on RevasOS websites may load slowly on the first visit because they are served by an optimized Content Delivery Network (CDN). The CDN receives information about the device and browser used, such as resolution and supported formats, and sends the best version of the image.
If a version of the image is not available, the CDN creates one on the fly and stores it for a year. This ensures that images are always optimized for compression and the best format for the device being used.
For example, the first desktop user may experience a slow load time, but the second desktop user will see the website as quickly as possible. Likewise, the first mobile user may experience a slow load time, but the CDN will have already optimized the images for mobile, so subsequent users will have a faster experience.
It is important to note that this behavior is specific to images and does not impact the website load time or text content.

"Why don't I see my recent changes online?"
To optimize performance, RevasOS templates and websites have caches. When changes are made, these are invalidated and new caches are created with the recent changes. This process usually takes about a minute but can take much longer. When you make changes, wait a bit before reloading the website.
