Before you start:
To use this part of the editor you mus have created a website with at least one page first. Fore more info you can read how to do create a website and manage pages. And, to be able to add and edit blocks on a page you must be appointed as page editor.
If you have already created a website with one or more pages by adding or editing the blocks within them you will change the content displayed on the page.
Add a block to a page
Enter the Websites app Dashboard, you can find the Websites app in the store.
- Select the website you want to edit;
- From the menu on the left select Pages;
- Select the page you want to add the block in;
- Clikc the New block, New code block or New dynamic previeow button where you want the new block to be;
- Inside the editor on the right add all the details of the new block;
- Click Save on the top right of the pop-up editor;
- Click Save on the top right of the screen;
- Preview all your changes with the See Preview button on the top right of the screen; All changes will shortly be online and available for your visitors.
Edit a block in a page
Enter the Websites app Dashboard, you can find the Websites app in the store.
- Select the website you want to edit;
- From the menu on the left select Pages;
- Select the page you want to edit;
- Select the block you want to edit by clicking on its card;
- Change all the details you want to edit in the editor that opens on the right;
- To add a block item click on the + sign;
- Click Save on the top right of the pop-up editor;
- Click Save on the top right of the screen;
- Preview all your changes with the See Preview button on the top right of the screen; All changes will shortly be online and available for your visitors.
Note:
If you have multiple languages for your websites you will have to make the same changes to all the languages. Simply select the desired language in step 1.
