Clock in and out without logging in
In this guide you will learn how to activate time stamps to clock in and out at a particular workplace via mobile device without logging in with credentials.
Device activation
To clock in or out you must first activate and enable your device:
- Download the application from the store using the download link:
- Android: Via the Google Play Store;
- iOS: Via the AppStore;
- Once you have installed the app, open it and you will find the screen with your device ID code. The code must be sent to the administration to enable time stamps on your device: to send it, you can copy and paste it or click the button to email it directly;
- Wait for confirmation from the administration that your device has been enabled, then close the app completely and reopen it;
- When you reopen it, you will see the screen with the button to stamp by QRCode. If enabled by the organization, you will also see the manual stamping option with the selection of the work location.
Warning
This configuration applies only to the device that has been activated. If the application is uninstalled, its data will be deleted, or the phone will be changed, you will have to repeat the procedure again. The previous code and device will no longer be valid and functional.
Clock in or out
Stamping modes depend on the active configurations in the organization.
QR Code time stamp If timecard stamping via QR code enabled, to clock in or out clock the Clock in with QRCode or the Clock out with QRCode button and frame the QRCode. You will be shown a confirmation panel with a summary of the direction and location of the stamping: if it is correct, click Confirm. Upon confirmation, the app will clock out and automatically return to the departure screen, where you can see its status and clock in or out.
Workplace
The QRCode you scan already contains information about the workplace where you are stamping.
Manual clock in or out If manual timecard stamping is setup, follow these steps to clock in or out:
- Select the work location from the dropdown below;
- To clock in click Clock in and to clock out click Clock out;
- You will be shown a confirmation panel with a summary of the direction and location of the stamping: if it is correct, click Confirm;
What to do if you cannot fin the app
If after confirming the administration, the screen does not change and you continue to see the activation code:
- try closing the app again and reopening it;
- try restarting the phone;
- resend the code to the administration to perform the procedure;
- uninstall the app and perform the procedure again;
