Clocking in and out form the desktop and mobile app

In this guide you will learn how to quickly clock in or out at a workplace and create a new timecard stamp in RevasOS.

Before you start:

To be able to use this function you need to have already created an organization in RevasOS and have the necessary roles and permissions to create a timecard stamp. For more info you can read the roles and permissions page.

Clocking in at a workplace

On a desktop device

  1. Open the Timecards app from your RevasOS environment;
  2. Click on New Timestamp;
  3. Insert your contact in Contact field;
  4. Make sure that Clock in is higlighted in orange;
  5. Select the correct workplace from the dropdown menu;
  6. Click Save;

On a mobile device

Tip

On some mobile devices you can install RevasOS web apps to your homescreen via the browser. To know more please you can read the installing the mobile app guide.

Do you have a QR code or a NFC tag?

If on the workplace you have set up a QR code or a NFC tag scan them firtst and follow the guide from step 3 on.

  1. Open the Timecards app from your homescreen or from this link from on a mobile device: https://os.eu1.revas.app/timecards;
  2. Select the correct workplace from the dropdown menu;

Note:

This option is not available if you scanned a QR codeor a NFC tag;

  1. If you have any autentication services activated (e.g. GPS) you can veirfy if the timecard stamp is autenticated or not. You can see the active autentications in green and the requested but not available autentications in red;
  2. Click on Clock in. If certifications are not available but you wish to clok in anywas click on Clock in anyways;

Clocking out from a workplace

The clock out process is very similar to the clock in process.

On a desktop device

  1. Open the Timecards app from your RevasOS environment;
  2. Click on New Timestamp;
  3. Insert your contactin inthe Contact field;
  4. Make sure that Clock out is higlighted in orange;
  5. Select the correct workplace from the dropdown menu;
  6. Click Save;

On a mobile device

  1. Open the Timecards app from your homescreen or from this link from on a mobile device: [https://timecards.eu1.revas.app] (https://timecards.eu1.revas.app);
  2. If you have any autentication services activated (e.g. GPS) you can veirfy if the timecard stamp is autenticated or not. You can see the active autentications in green and the requested but not available autentications in red;
  3. Click on Clock out. If certifications are not available but you wish to clok out anywas click on Clock out anyways;
  4. You will be asked for the break times, you can either input the start and end time of the break or check the I did not take a break box;
  5. Click Clock out;
