Different views in the Timesheets app

RevasOS Timesheets app lets you manage yout time entries by changing the ways in which data is displayed. In the left sidebar the options My time entries and Calendar refer to the two main ways in which RevasOS displays your time entries and work as follows:

Time entries list

To access the time entries list click on My time entries form the left side bar. The time entries list contains all the time entries input. Admins can see the hours recorded by each collaborator. Every time entry has a description, a start date and time, a finish date and time and the workplace (if it is a attendance) or the absence type (if it is an absence).

The unreported time entries are displayed first. To see all the reported or non reported time entries and the absences click on the button All on the top part of the chart.

By default on a desktop device the last two weeks timesheets are displayed whereas on mobile only the current day's ones. To change it you can:

  • On a desktop device:
    • Change the dates in the From and To fields and click on Filter;
    • Click on Quick filters and select one of the options between This month, This week, Last month or Last week;
  • On a mobile device:
    • Click on the date to select one form the pop-up calendar;
    • Use the arrows on the side of the date to move to the one right before or right after;

Attendances calendar

To access the calendar view click on Calendar form the left sidebar. The calendar view allowd you to see the time entries as events. You can display your own calendar or or other collaborators' calendar.

On mobile devices the interface si simplifieed: calendar events are arranged in a chronologically ordered list.

By default on desktop and mobile devices your own calendar is displayed. To add others you can:

  • On a desktop device search for the collaborator whose calendar you want to see to add them in the favourites calendar list;
  • On a mobile device:
    • Click on Favorites to see the calendars of the collaborators you added to the favourites list via desktop.
    • Click on All to see the calendars of all the collaborators;

By default on a desktop devide only the curren week is displayes and on mobile only the current day. To change the displayed time frame you can:

  • On a desktop device:
    • Change the type of the displayed timeframe by clicking on Day, Month, Week, or Working week,
    • Use the Previous o Next button to move to the previous or next timeframe;
  • On a mobile device:
    • Click on the start and finish dates to open a drop-down menu and select either Today, Tomorrow, This week or Next week;
    • Change ther start and finish dates to have a personalized view;

Detail view of time entries

From the time entries list or form the calendar you can see the details of your time entries. Only users with the Timesheets and attendance manager can see details of other's time entries.

In the details view you can:

  • Edit the description, date and time for the start and finish of the time entry;
  • Change the workplace or the absence type;
  • Do simple or advanced reporting;

Locked time entries

A locked time entry is not editale: only users with the Timesheets and attendance manager permission can lock and unlock time entries. Locked time entries can be identified by the lock icon.
