Add events to calendar

This guide will show you how to quickly create new events in the Calendar view. An event is a time entry that has a start and end date and time.
If your organization has already enabled Timecards integration, each timecard stamp becomes an event in the calendar.

Before you start:

To be able to add a new event to the calendar view you need to have already created an organization in RevasOS and have the necessary roles and permissions to create and edit elements in the timesheet. For more info you can read the roles and permissions page.

Create an event in the calendar view

  1. Open the Timesheets app in your RevasOS environment;
  2. Click on Calendar in the left sidebar to open the calendar view;
  3. Click on an empty space in the Calendar view from a desktop device or on the + button from a mobile device and select Attendance;
  4. Input the event data (description, start and finish time, workplace);
  5. Click Save;

The new event will be higlighted in purple.

Note:

Add the Calendar to your personal calendar app (desktop only)

  1. Open the Timesheets app in your RevasOS environment;
  2. Click on Calendar on the left sidebar to open the calendar view;
  3. Click on Copy calendar public link to your clipboard;
  4. Add your calnedar on your personal calendar app of choice;

Note:

You can also paste the link in a new browser tab to download the ICS file and add that tho the calendar app. This way the calendar will not be automatically sincronized and you will need to make manual changes.
